The Creative Council, a collective of industry leaders will be leading the charge for the Fashion Studio at The House of Peroni. They’ll be there to impart years of expertise and advice, through talks and mentorship. Together they span a wide range of roles from design and art direction, all the way to journalism and business.

JONATHAN SAUNDERS

DESIGNER

Scottish born designer Jonathan Saunders has mastered his work in print textiles.

He graduated from Glasgow School of Art in 1999 with a BA in Printed Textiles, and Central Saint Martin’s in 2002 with an MA with distinction in Printed Textiles. Saunders has since gone on to win several awards including Lancôme Colour Awards, 2002, Scottish Fashion Awards - Designer of the Year, 2010, Elle - Designer of the Year Awards, 2012 and most recently the Vogue Fashion Fund Award in partnership with the British Fashion Council.

Saunders also achieved his second British Vogue cover in September 2012.

ISABELLA BURLEY

EDITOR-IN-CHIEF / DAZED

Isabella Burley is the editor-in-chief at Dazed & Confused. In 2016, she was appointed Helmut Lang’s first editor-in-residence. She was responsible for the development of new brand initiatives including The Design Residency Programme featuring Shayne Oliver, Helmut Lang Re-Edition, Helmut Lang Seen By, and the recently released Helmut Lang Fans Seen by Exactitudes® featuring Solange Knowles and Kanye West.

PANDORA SYKES

JOURNALIST

Pandora Sykes is a London based Journalist, and currently the co-host of a weekly pop-culture/ news podcast, The High Low, created by writer and journalist Dolly Alderton and herself.

She was most recently Fashion Features Editor and Wardrobe Mistress columnist at The Sunday Times Style as well as running her own blog. She’s written culture, social commentary and fashion pieces and celebrity interviews for titles including The Times, The Telegraph, The Sunday Times, Vogue Australia, New York Magazine’s The Cut, CNN, MATCHESFASHION.COM, Red magazine, Marie Claire, Net-a-Porter’s The Edit, The Coveteur, Man Repeller, i-D and The Spectator.

As a stylist and brand consultant she’s worked with emerging brands including Olivia Von Halle, Alice Archer, Charlotte Simone, Blake London, Paloma Blue, Marina London, Dodo Bar Or, All Things Mochi, Topshop, Rogues Matilda and Hunza G.

She’s also collaborated with brands including Chanel, Liberty London, Sunglass Hut, Cartier, Topshop, Estée Lauder, Selfridges and M&S.

ALEXANDER FURY

JOURNALIST & EDITOR / ANOTHER MAGAZINE

Alexander Fury is the Chief Fashion Correspondent at The New York Times Style Magazine and Editor-in-Chief of AnOther Magazine. He’s also an author, with his first book Dior: Catwalk published in 2017.

Fury also edited Love, Condé Nast’s influential biannual magazine, for one year. He is a member of the British Fashion Council ’s selection panel for Newgen candidates, and has acted as a creative consultant for Mary Katrantzou since 2010. He held the role of Fashion Director at Nick Knight’s Showstudio from 2008 to 2012.

He received the Editorial Intelligence Award for Fashion Commentator of the Year 2014-15, and was named one of InStyle magazine’s 20 most powerful people in fashion in 2015.

CONSULTANT

Anna has been a Strategic consultant at the British Fashion Council for 28 years.

She has had a positive hand in LONDON show ROOMS, which provides a unique opportunity for emerging British designers to promote themselves outside London.
