Roisin Laffery

Creator of aesthetics in the House of Peroni

Founder and Managing Director of Kingston Lafferty Design

Recently elected President of the Institute of Designers in Ireland, Roisin believes firmly in the power of creative collaboration. Over the past nine years, Róisín has built a team of talented designers, contractors and craftspeople around her at Kingston Laffery Design. Named IMAGE Interiors & Living Magazine’s Interior Designer of the Year 2018, Róisín has been awarded a number of accolades, and she is recognised as one of Ireland’s leading creative personalities. Her work has been featured in many Irish and international publications, including Elle Decoration, Architectural Digest, Living ETC, Italian and Australian Vogue and The Wall Street Journal.

Roisin has been tasked with designing the aesthetics of the RHA interior for this year’s House of Peroni. Following a trip to Puglia earlier this year hosted by Peroni Nastro Azzurro, Roisin said: ‘Brimming with sophistication and elegance, Puglia’s aesthetic of refined arches, understated whites, and glistening jewel seascapes, framed the chilled and inviting environment. I am really excited to capture some of its charm and character in this year’s House of Peroni design’. In Italy, Roisin stayed in Masseria Ceravolo, a farm house steeped in history and tradition that was lovingly restored and now is an elegant country house. Rosin will combine the style of Peroni with the beauty of Puglia in her creation.

He also visited music studio, Sude Studio. Incorporating Puglia’s rich craftsmanship, culture and artwork, Algorithm will design a new immersive audio visual experience in the RHA for the House of Peroni.

KILLIAN CROWLEY

Curator of food at the House of Peroni

Chef at Michelin-starred Aniar restaurant in Galway

Born in Belgium to an Irish father and Belgian mother, Killian began his culinary career at the early age of 15. He worked across Europe in Michelin kitchens, Restaurant Clairefontaine in Luxembourg, the three star Le Louis XV - Alain Ducasse à l'Hôtel de Paris in Monaco, and was part of the team awarded a second star at Christophe Hardiquest’s restaurant BonBon in Belgium, before coming to Ireland to join Aniar. Aniar’s philosophy is based on producing contemporary Irish food using local, seasonal and sustainable ingredients – a philosophy Killian will bring with him to The House of Peroni menu.

Killian will curate the exclusive dining menu at this year’s House of Peroni, which will focus on top Irish produce served in a Pugliese style. As well as this, Killian will also develop three unique gelato flavours that will be served in the House of Peroni Dublin, Barcelona, Paris and Stockholm – preserved lemon, olive oil, and a Peroni gelato. Killian was inspired by the simplicity of the food, the variety of ingredients, and the passion of the people and food producers in Puglia. He saw first-hand how important the food culture is in this part of the world, having spent time with executive chef, Domingo Schingaro, and Michelin star-awarded coach, Andrea Ribaldone, in Borgo Egnazia.
